Studio Updates and Full Moon Chat

While you’re here I'd like to share some updates with you, along with some messages of hope and positive transformation.

Something I feel we all need right now, as the world continues to get ever more surreal.

Today (Friday 1 May), marks the first full moon of the month of May. A Flower Moon in Scorpio. It's giving us the chance to see something previously unclear or unconscious with greater clarity.

I turned 44 last weekend, and bought myself a gym membership to celebrate. Rock 'n' Roll I know! But it's part of me stepping towards tending to my own needs as a priority.

In doing so I will be able to show up better for my family and friends, my art, my part-time job, and myself.

I always feel better after a workout. More calm, collected and confident. That is the type of energy I want to bring into the world.

Home workouts weren't really cutting it (or happening at all). So joining a gym where I am being properly challenged has been a really positive change for me.

I had avoided taking the step for far too long. But now that I have, other things have started happening as well.

The migration of my website has started to take shape this week too! I've been putting off starting this since the beginning of this year. It's a big project and I was feeling very daunted by it. But I have already completed my new homepage!

You won't see any changes just yet - it's all work behind the scenes right now. I look forward to sharing my new site with you very soon!

I'm already super excited about the developments, and look forward to launching some brand new print collections over the summer months.

I can see now that by holding back on giving my body the care it needs I was blocking my progress with work projects.

Is there anything that you have been blocking or avoiding?

Now could be the perfect time to face it head on!

Discover the New Coastal Collection at Echo Beach Gallery

I'm super excited to share with you my new collection of coastal inspired oil paintings. They are all looking beautiful hanging in the front section of Echo Beach Gallery in Ilfracombe.

Many pieces are inspired by the themes of hope, transformation and mystery that align perfectly with this Scorpio full moon. The collection features:

  • Bold, expressive oil paintings with deep colors and textures

  • Pieces inspired by Croyde Bay, Saunton and a more abstracted interpretation of the North Devon Coastline.

  • Paintings created after I have been swimming in the sea. These are my 'Infinite Flow' pieces and infused with the raw energy of the Atlantic Ocean. They are crafted with the highest quality Michael Harding oil paints and are alive with vibrancy and texture.

Visiting the gallery offers a chance to experience art that resonates with the energy of the wild and beautiful North Devon Coast.

If you can’t visit in person, the collection is also available online on the Echo Beach Gallery website:

Visit Croyde Craft Market on Thursday 7 May

For those who love handmade treasures and supporting local artists, I will have a stall at Croyde Craft Market on Thursday 7 May from 10am to 4pm.

This vibrant market showcases:

  • Unique crafts and artworks from regional creators

  • Delicious local food and drinks close by

  • Music, laughter and a friendly community atmosphere

It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with creativity, find one-of-a-kind items, and enjoy a lively day out. Mark your calendar and bring friends or family for a memorable experience.

Final Thoughts on the Full Moon in Scorpio and Upcoming Events

The full moon in Scorpio today invites you to explore your inner depths and embrace transformation with strength and honesty.

I feel really proud of the steps I have taken recently. It's hard work, but somehow feels easier than the discomfort of procrastination,

This moment pairs beautifully with creative and community events happening now and soon. Take advantage of my Bank Holiday offer, explore new art at Echo Beach Gallery, enjoy the Croyde Craft Market, and consider joining the June art retreat to deepen your journey.

Thank you as ever for being here and supporting me.
