It is a great pleasure to release my Winter collection of 'Dreams' paintings online.
I absolutely loved painting these alluring and invigorating pieces, each one created predominantly with high quality oil paints.
Initial layers of warmer hues glow through the original paintings - a magical and enticing quality that isn't easy to capture on camera.
Textured impasto marks catch the light, adding to the movement and depth of the piece. This pulls the viewer in, reflecting the immersive experience of the landscape.
Distant horizons moving in and out of focus, heavy clouds and dramatic skies in a state of flux. I'm always aiming to capture the movement and energy of the scene through the medium of oil paint.

On the beach I am not out of myself, I am in myself.
I no longer feel the need to escape anything. I am at peace with my brokenness, my perfect imperfections. I have no need to prove anything to anyone. I am, and that is enough. The universe doesn't make mistakes. I have a right to be here, and so do you.
How I perceive the beach is a direct reflection of how I am feeling. The better I feel, the more beautiful the scene becomes.
We all have the power to acknowledge our emotions, and then let them go. We may not be able to control what is going on externally, but we do have control of what is happening internally.
Our world is a direct reflection of our inner state: As Above, So Below.
