Exploring Art: must-see events this Spring

Spring greetings to you dear friends!

The warmth must return soon surely.

I was still bundled up in my ski jacket and bobble hat on the school run this morning. And realised with shock that it is my birthday next week!

My birthday is usually a time when it's usually warm enough for me to be excited to plan picnics and family camping trips. And when the thought of dunking myself in the ocean actually feels appealing!

I know this winter has felt like a long one for many people I know. If you feel the same hang on! The warm sunshine is on it's way.

In the meantime booking in some events to fill up your heart with arty goodness could be just what you need to keep you going.

I have three events for you below so please read on...

Ilfracombe Art Trail

I've been in full-on painting mode recently getting some stunning new oil paintings ready for you to view as part of Ilfracombe Art Trail on 11 and 12 May.

My work will be taking-over half of the space in the lovely Echo Beach Gallery in Ilfracombe and I will be present in the gallery on both days.

Make sure your visit on 11 and 12 May is booked into your diary. This one is certainly a must-see event and I'm really looking forward to seeing you!

Oil Painting Workshops

Ticket sales are closing soon for my oil painting workshop at Studio Kind in Barnstaple this Sunday!

If you have ever wondered what it would be like to try your hand at oil painting then this is your perfect opportunity.

Especially if you bought some oil paints a while ago and they are sitting in a drawer somewhere patiently waiting for their freedom!

You will leave the class with your very own finished landscape oil painting, which you will be able to take home and frame, or perhaps gift to a loved one. Or even sell!

To book on follow this link to the Studio Kind Eventbrite page

Don't worry if you can't make it to this one, as other dates are available later in the year.

Sunday 9 June is the next workshop date if that works better for you.

Coastal Painting Retreats

If you are after something extra-special than this is for you!

My new art retreats hosted by the fabulous Lone Pine Retreats are perfect if you are looking for something to celebrate a special event.

It could be a big birthday, a hen party, an anniversary or graduation. Perhaps you've just come to the end of a course of treatment for your health and deserve a special treat.

The dates for my art retreats are as follows:

31 May - 2 June

12-14 July

2-4 August

More information and details for booking can be found on the Coastal Art Retreats page of my website

As ever, thank you so much for being here and for reading. If you have any questions about any of the above events simply email me at amy@amyjobes.com

With warm wishes

P.s. Thank you so much for all of your print orders! Lots of people have been buying my prints as gifts this year. Some of my images only have a few left in their edition! Infinite Love has only one print left, so if you have had your eye on that Saunton-inspired beauty then grab it before it's gone!

For ease I have linked both my limited and open edition prints below:

Thank you for your support!
