Amy Jobes Biography
I am a contemporary landscape painter based in North Devon. Painting has always been my passion and I have been selling work since I was 15.
My art business was set up in 2012, and I am represented by two galleries - Echo Beach Gallery in Ilfracombe, and Wave 7 Gallery in Wadebridge.
I addition to a number of local shows, I have exhibited my work in solo shows and art fairs, and also set up my own artist residency.
I have been featured in Artists & Illustrators Magazine and Devon Life Magazine, and took I part in Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year in 2015.
I have been a speaker at many VAA online events, including the ‘How to Build a Small but Mighty Artist’s List’ Masterclass. I work alongside the VAA lead mentor Karen van Hoey Smith.
As a mentor I specialise in helping artists with goal setting, branding, marketing and selling their artwork.
Being a busy Mum of two school age children has taught me to be laser-focused on actions that will really make a difference. This kind of focus will allow you to make step-changes in your art business, while keeping other aspects of your life in balance.
Mentor meetings are held via Zoom so location is no issue! All you need is your computer and WiFi.
I have worked with a number of mentors and coaches in the past, and have found their support and guidance invaluable. I am generous with my advice and will bring years of experience and passion to supporting your growth as an artist.
I look forward to working with you!
