Day 7 - Routine
Now the school run is part of my life, routine is pretty fixed during the week. Mornings we are up and out by 8.30am come rain or shine. We normally walk or cycle to school which gets us all out in the fresh air. I get to have a quick catch up with friends too. Twice a week the littlest goes to nursery, so these are painting days 💙🎨✨💕 On other days I try to get work done while the little one naps and before I have to rush out again to collect the bigger one.
Once they are both back home there's housework, homework and dinner to make. The lovely other half usually puts the kids to bed, which allows me to get a bit more work done in the evening.
People often think as an artist I spend most of my time painting. In reality it's only around 20 per cent of my time. The rest is marketing, emails, Web publishing, photography, accounts, the list goes on. Talking of lists I don't know where I'd be without my to do lists. I've usually got at least three on the go! It's busy but I love my work. Just have to be careful not to over do it as my family keep me busy enough! My work makes me feel connected to the world and makes me excited about the future, so it's worth it ✨✨✨
