Day 23 - Hands at Work
I spent some time painting the edges of my new canvases yesterday. All the edges of my paintings are white and usually require at least 3 layers of paint to cover up all the drips from creating the actual painting.
Quite a lot of precision is needed with this work. I'm usually sticking out my tongue with concentration during this task. How else would I get such a straight line?!
Do you have a preference with unframed canvases? Plain edges or the painting carried around the corners?
