Day 2 - Where?
North Devon, UK
Although I grew up in rural Hampshire, I always felt like North Devon was my spiritual home. Growing up I used to visit for camping holidays with my family at least twice a year, spending days on end on Woolacombe Beach and rock pooling at Lee Bay. During my teenage years I went on the most incredible horse riding holidays on Exmoor where we would pack a picnic and gallop around all day. I kept being drawn back here to surf and enjoy the beaches while I was studying in Exeter and working in Bristol.
I feel really lucky to live here now. It's a fun, safe and really friendly place to raise our family, and the local environment is perfect to feed my creativity. The gorgeous coastline and endless horizons of Exmoor are constant sources of inspiration for my artwork.
