I was hoping for more of a 'normal' routine this week, but alas, the littlest one's teething troubles developed into an ear infection, so no painting again for me this week.
Instead I'm going to share some of my son's creativity with you - a particularly heart-melting story written in his 'big ideas have small beginnings' book.
Promise I didn't prompt him at all! What a sweatheart.
His story inspired us to join a Surfers Against Sewage beach clean at Saunton Beach last Sunday along with over 70 other volunteers. The little man especially enjoyed getting stuck in with the nurdle sand sifting.
We found loads of bio-beads that are used by South West Water to filter sewage waste. Happy to say that in response to environmental campaigning, the supplier is now phasing out the use of the beads and installing extra screen meshes to stop them escaping.

Fingers crossed I'll have some new artwork to share with you next week!
For now have a lovely weekend. Join a beach clean if you can!
